Navy Game
The Navy Game is a great game, for young minds to practice simple arithmetic. The goal of the game it to
add up numbers to equal 15. To do this, the child must travel along a route, a green
squiggly line, to a number at the end. Being careful not to lose one's place, otherwise it's
back to the beginning, to start over.
In 1943,
C. Carey Cloud created the Navy Game for
Cracker Jack. This was one of nine different games with a
military theme. The other eight were, U.S. Navy Ship, Plane Carrier, Machine Gun, U.S. War Tank, Big War Gun,
U.S. Army Plane, Paratrooper, Jeep and
War Game.
This game is very similar to the
Transatlantic Flight Game,
that he made for
Cracker Jack three years later.
Printed on card stock,
measuring 8" long, 1⅞" high, in the green and red ink which is typical for a
C. Carey Cloud paper prize. The heavy paper is perforated, and folds in
thirds to easily fit into a box of
Cracker Jack.

How to Play
One or more can play. Start at any star and
follow green line until you get the number of
enemy ships. Then, mark down number. Next,
start from another star and repeat until your
numbers total exactly 15. If you total more
than 15 you must start all over again. The first
person arriving at 15 (no more or no less) is the
winner of the sea battle.
Made in U.S.A.
