This is a 6 inch wooden carving of an anteater. We don't know why Carey Cloud carved this. It could be that it was something he made to give away to local children, or perhaps it was an experimental carving, working out various animal ideas for a Cracker Jack toy. The wooden models he carved for making Cracker Jack toys were over four times larger than the prize. If this were to be made into a Cracker Jack prize it would have been 1¼ inch long.
